The human body is amazing. Here are a few facts that might make you appreciate what you're born with a little more.

10. The average person produces enough saliva in their lifetime to fill up two swimming pools. That's around 25,000 gallons.

9. Over the course of a lifetime, the average person sheds 600,000 particles of skin every hour. That ends up being about 1.5 pounds a year.

8. Beside having unique fingerprints, everyone also has their own unique tongue print.

7. Every single day, every one of your blood cells travels 12,000 miles through your body. The circumference of the earth is 24,901 miles. So every two days, your bloods travels almost the distance you would have to go to circle the globe.

6. The human nose can remember 50,000 different scents. But there are some smells I'd rather forget...

5. Speaking of noses, the air from a human sneeze can travel at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.

3. We don't only have 5 senses, we actually have at least 15 more. These include balance, temperature, thirst, hunger, pain, time and many others.
