5 Bad Habits That Drain Your Energy
So funny thumbnail aside, I've compiled a list of the things you are doing that are draining your energy! Forget energy drinks and coffee, your not even using your natural energy to its maximum efficiency in the first place! Here are 5 things you need to stop doing if you want to boost your energy!
*disclaimer* not a doctor, but to me it was common sense achat de viagra pfizer.
5. You skip exercise when you're tired
Okay if you were helping a friend move the day before than your excused, but if your just feeling lazy, get your butt up!
Skipping your workout because your tired, is like not eating when your hungry.
Feeling lazy? Great, go run around for a while and get some fresh air!
In a University of Georgia study, sedentary but otherwise healthy adults who began exercising lightly three days a week for as little as 20 minutes at a time reported feeling less fatigued and more energized after six weeks.
Regular exercise boosts strength and endurance, but more importantly it helps to make your cardiovascular system run more efficiently, and deliver oxygen and nutrients to your tissues.
4. You don't drink enough water
Dehydration causes a reduction in blood volume, which makes the blood thicker. This requires your heart to pump less efficiently, reducing the speed at which oxygen and nutrients reach your muscles and organs. Being even slightly dehydrated—as little as 2% of normal fluid loss—takes a toll on energy levels, says Amy Goodson, RD, a dietitian for Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine.
I personally always have a refillable bottle with me pretty much where ever I go, Yeah I know, i'm a nerd.
3. You're A Perfectionist
This one we can all be a little guilty of at times lol gotta say, however
Striving to be perfect—which, let's face it, is impossible—makes you work much harder and longer than necessary, says Irene S. Levine, PhD, professor of psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine.
But more importantly i'll give you this. Its 7 am right now and i haven't slept since yesterday night, but yet i'm still fumbling around all these new blog controls trying make every neat and tidy lol I should just go to damn sleep!
2. Guilty, Guilty, Guilty You skip breakfast
A long day since it's been, when i'd wake up and walk into my living room only to be greeted by my mother and grandmother. They be throwing every breakfast item in the world at me until I heard one I liked. Now someone says, "breakfast?" and I just reply "starbucks?'
The food you eat fuels your body, and when you sleep, your body continues using what you consumed at dinner the night before to keep your blood pumping and oxygen flowing. So, when you wake up in the morning, you need to refuel with breakfast. Skip it, and you'll feel sluggish.
"Eating breakfast is like starting a fire in your body by kickstarting your metabolism," Goodson says.
1. You check your emails at bedtime
Yup believe it or not the glaring light of a tablet, smartphone, or your computer's backlit screen can throw off your body's natural circadian rhythm by suppressing melatonin, a hormone that helps regulate sleep and wake cycles, says Dr. Towfigh. Sensitivity to the digital glow of tech toys can vary from person to person, but in general it's a good idea to avoid all technology for one to two hours before bedtime, he says.
And boomshakalaka its 7am lol
Anyway that concludes the first blog post! Hope you liked my deliriousness of it all.
